Personal Information We Obtain

The personal data we obtain varies based on your specific interactions with us, such as when you:

  • purchase products or services from us;
  • request product samples or information;
  • process or execute an agreement or contract with us;
  • create an account on our website;
  • register or sign up for an event, seminar, or promotion;

  • communicate with us or submit an application in regards a career opportunity at Irvine Scientific;

Cookies and Other Technologies

Irvine Scientific uses cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies on our websites (www.irvinesci.com) that collect certain information about you by automated means. A “cookie” is a text file that websites send to a visitor’s computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. We do not sell or otherwise disclose personal information about you except as described here or at the time of collection. Irvine Scientific may share personal data in the following ways:

Data Transfers

We may transfer the personal information we collect to, and store such data in, other countries in which Irvine Scientific operates, including the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than the country in which the information was provided. Where provided by law, you may withdraw any consent you previously provided to us or object at any time on legitimate grounds to the processing of your personal information, and we will apply your preferences going forward. This will not affect the lawfulness of our use of your information based on your consent before its withdrawal.

How We Protect Personal Information

Notifications of any data incident may be delivered by direct or indirect communications (for example, by phone call, in-person meeting, email, written notification, etc.) at Irvine Scientific’s discretion.

Irvine Scientific will notify appropriate authorities of any confirmed data breach where personal information has been compromised to the extent required by applicable law or regulatory requirement.

Irvine Scientific’s notification of or response to a data incident will not be construed as an acknowledgement by Irvine Scientific of any fault or liability with respect to the data incident.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we typically retain personal information we obtain about you for as long as it is needed (1) for the purposes for which we obtained it, in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, or (2) to take into account applicable statute of limitation periods and comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and to the extent required to fulfill regulatory obligations, which generally means that we will keep your personal information for the duration of our relationship, and for no more than 20 years after the termination of the existing relationship for the purposes and obligations described above.
