Cell therapy is a promising emerging industry that offers unprecedented challenges to manufacturers and regulators. ATMP guidelines present risk management as a key tool to address challenges associated with converting complex biology into compliant processes. In this context, the use of serum in T cell based adaptive cell therapy processes entails risks that may be addressed by the use of chemically defined media. This webinar presents some technical considerations in the transition from serum containing to serum-free T cell workflows.
