Topic: Delivering Improved Bioprocessing Workflows
Presenter: Ishmael Ordoñez, PhD, R&D Manager, MSAT, FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific

The key challenges in cell culture media preparation typically include hydration, solubility, and precipitation, all of which may ultimately affect media consistency and performance. To meet the evolving demands of bioprocessing and biologics manufacture, Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) services can help simplify process workflows, increase process efficiencies, and overcome technical challenges.
FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific is dedicated to creating value through innovation and fostering collaboration with customers. Through the MSAT and Media Development and Optimization (MDO) services, we help our customers achieve their goals towards the development of life-saving therapeutics. In this presentation, we provide an overview of MSAT services and present a case study of how MSAT was utilized to address a copper precipitation issue in cell culture.
- Discover MSAT approaches for improving upstream bioprocessing workflows
- Identify risks and bottlenecks in media preparation and manufacturing
- Explore ways to improve the reliability and productivity of media
- Addressing media precipitation in bags: a case study on copper precipitation
