Spent Media Analysis
To complement our media development and optimization services, FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific offers Spent Media Analysis. This analysis provides an understanding of changes in culture composition over time. FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific can provide data within approximately 15 business days.
The following provides descriptions of FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific’s current offerings.
1) Amino Acids
Includes 20 amino acids commonly found in cell culture media. Amino acids can be rate-limiting factors for both growth and production.
2) Water Soluble Vitamins
Includes pyridoxine, nicotinamide, folic acid, vitamin B12, riboflavin, and thiamine. This testing is primarily for in-depth media development.
3) Total Lipids
Lipids and fatty acids are profiled to help in the assessment of growth and performance.
4) Metal Trace Screening
Screening of 50+ trace metals can be beneficial for in-depth media development.
