We are hiring a Customer Service Representative to take and process customer orders, respond to technical inquiries, follow up on sales leads, and provide competent and enthusiastic customer service. Enter purchase orders received by telephone, mail, fax, email and website, using an on-line order entry system.
Investigate and answer inquiries regarding the status of an order using an on-line computer order entry system.
Receive, register, and process customer order and shipment related complaints by writing up forms and using the computer to process returns, replacements, and/or requests for credit.
Set up and manage scheduled standing orders, on an on-line order entry system. This includes follow-up with Pricing Representative for quote renewal.
Answer technical inquires received by customers.
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of customer service experience in an order entry department with a proven ability to resolve problems, achieve results, and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work well as a team, demonstrating a positive and professional demeanor.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Working knowledge of general office procedures and basic calculator functions.
Ability to pay strong attention to details.
Ability to learn business requirements and use data systems to meet job requirements.
