Mesenchymal stromal cells and stem cells (MSCs) are the leading adult-derived cells in clinical trials due to their immune modulatory properties, as well as the stem cell-specific multipotent differentiation potential to form cartilage, bone, and other cell types. MSCs constitute a small percentage of their source tissues, and isolation processes result in variable efficiency. Our PRIME-XV MSC media and reagents provide the ability to expand these progenitor cells in vitro, ensuring viability of MSCs for cell therapy applications.
