For Endotoxin Detection

Precautions for Use:

1. Endotoxin-free glassware and aluminum caps can be prepared by dry-heating at 250 degrees C for 90 minutes.
2. Take great care not to cause endotoxin contamination. Use aseptic techniques at all times.
3. Store the reagents under the conditions specified on the labels and the package inserts. Do not use reagents past their expiration dates. Discard if the vacuum is absent or if reagent color or opacity is present.
4. Exercise caution when handling the reagents, because toxicity of LAL is not known.
5. Even a trace amount of the Chromogenic Limulus Reagent, which contains a large amount of a (1->3)-beta-D-glucan derivative, activates regular LAL. Be careful not to comtaminate regular LAL with the Chromogenic Limulus Reagent.
