Demand Generation Specialist

Job Function:

We are hiring a Demand Generation Specialist. The Demand Generation Specialist will lead generation and nurturing through automated marketing programs. This individual will be responsible for platform development and administration (currently Marketo), executing global campaigns, and training regional teams. The ideal candidate will have a spark of creativity, ability to create engaging emails, a proven track record of generation leads, and continuously improving the lead cycle.


  • Administer and serve as the expert administrator/user of the Marketo marketing automation platform
  • Understand end-to-end marketing funnel processes including campaign creation, lead generation, lead scoring, qualification
  • Manage the deployment of email, nurturing streams, and event programs and its associated assets such as landing pages, web forms, and email templates
  • Partner with creative team to create content for emails, landing pages, and forms
  • Participate in collaborative cross-functional meetings to build and launch engaging campaigns and advise on effective use of Marketo to achieve business goals
  • Partner with administrators of marketing platforms to deploy and manage integrations with Marketo
  • Build complex programs designed around buyer personas and journeys
  • Maintain integrity of Marketo database through process optimization and data cleansing
  • Keep current on best practices for lead generation and nurturing
  • Stay informed on Marketo development to anticipate development and integration requirements
  • Report on campaign metrics and database with a focus on driving continuous improvement
  • Document and maintain marketing automation platform processes and procedures
  • Comply with Regulatory routing, documentation and archiving standards
  • Identify opportunities for applying new technologies, digital products and services to online campaigns
  • Company sponsored training and certification in Marketo will be provided


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field; experience or focused qualifications considered. Marketo certification preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in demand generation, email marketing, and lead nurturing
  • Experience using digital marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Pardot: Marketo preferred
  • Experience in platform integration with CRM, websites, lead capture preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to translate a creative brief into clear, concise emails, landing pages
  • Demonstrated understanding and use of buyer personas, journeys, and sales funnel
  • B2B experience preferred
  • Understanding of outbound/inbound marketing principles
  • Understanding of user-design, graphic design and interface principles and responsive and mobile design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good command of English grammar
  • Strong time-management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Able to produce accurate work with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working scientific concepts and language
