This is a GSK-3β (glycogen synthase kinase 3β) inhibitor, and its selectivity is higher than any other GSK-3β inhibitor reported to date.
This product does not show cross-reactivity to CDKs (Cyclin-dependent kinases).
It has been reported that differentiation can be suppressed with high efficiency when ES cells are cultured in a medium containing CHIR99021/PD0325901.
