First Annual Walk of Hope 5K Raises Funds to Help Patients with Infertility

Hope is what keeps dreams alive and what sustains patients battling infertility through their arduous IVF journey to see their dream of a family realized. On August 24, 2019, FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific hosted our first annual Walk of Hope 5K to raise money for RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association—a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides support and advocates for patient’s rights on their road to parenthood.

Event participants gathered at Cedar Grove Park in Tustin, CA to walk 5K and help raise money and awareness for patients dealing with infertility. Following the walk, participants and their families enjoyed a complimentary food truck lunch, face painting, and dance music with a DJ.

Infertility affects 1 in 8 couples, and insurance companies provide limited, if any, help for patients who carry the financial burden as well as the emotional pain of being unable to conceive or carry a baby to full term. The Walk of Hope 5K is part of our commitment to ensure that patients get the support they need to make their dreams come true.
