ALL IN on Quality: How the Newest Product at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific Represents Our Total Commitment to Quality
At first glance, a vitrification device is a straightforward, familiar tool. However, as simple as it looks, its function is incredibly important for in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures. Storing oocytes and embryos for future use requires substantial safety testing and reliability. Every device must be able to keep specimens secure while under the harsh conditions of liquid nitrogen (LN2) and during transfer. That’s a lot to ask for any device. Which is why our newest product combines an intuitive design with additional quality control measures to achieve consistency every time.
Introducing cryo-GO, the latest vitrification device from FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific. A simple and efficient tool designed to provide a reliable option for holding and storing human embryos and oocytes.
The cryo-GO device integrates into any workflow, giving users a streamlined experience with unsurpassed integrity and performance that is built on rigorous quality control standards and a modern design; a testament to the importance we place on ensuring our products meet the highest levels of safety standards.
Dual Inspection of Every Device
What sets cryo-GO apart from similar products is the vast network of quality systems and expertise behind each device. Every device undergoes a thorough dual inspection process that includes human and artificial intelligence elements, ensuring a complete look at each one.
Visual Inspection
Trained technicians review every individual cryo-GO device under a microscope. Checking for physical defects or structural damage.
AI-Assisted Inspection
After the visual inspection, devices are individually loaded into an automated optical inspection (AOI) machine guided by artificial intelligence to perform an additional layer of quality control: A secondary analysis for defects imperceptible to the human eye. This process allows inspections to happen autonomously, and the AI-model can perform precise object recognition and localization, zeroing in on the smallest possible cracks or breaks.
Additionally, every batch of cryo-GO achieves a Certificate of Analysis for the following requirements:
- Endotoxin
- Mouse Embryo Assay
- Sterility
Modern Design for the Modern Lab
The high-quality construction of cryo-GO is further highlighted by its modern, practical design. The open- and closed-system build means that it fits into nearly all workflows, allowing clinics to adopt it in their office without upending their approach. Some notable design elements include:
- Tip: Tapered to relieve stress when bending or facing external pressure, ensuring structural integrity
- Cap: Connects tightly when locked to the body for a complete seal when submerged in LN2. Easy to lock on or pull off for efficient movements
- Body: Textured surface for a secure grip. The distinct profile makes it easy to distinguish orientation while in use or storage
- Color: - Five bold colors provide visibility when submerged in LN2 or in storage
ALL IN on Quality
