We are hiring an Associate Product Manager for our Bioproduction group. The position will be responsible for product line management and promotional marketing activities for Bioproduction Workflow Solution products and Classical Media. Supporting the strategic business plan, the Associate Product Manager will report into the Senior Product Manager, Bioproduction, and be responsible for portfolio management and expansion, new product commercialization, market analysis, and successful execution of marketing campaigns. This position works closely with cross-functional teams as well as external partners, and will require direct customer communication, public presentation, and a team-focused approach. Strong business and customer focus are essential.
Assist Sr Product Manager in managing product portfolio for Bioproduction Workflow Solution products and Classical Media. Responsibilities include managing demand forecasts, inventories, and establishing pricing and price strategies.
Support assigned product line within Bioproduction Division, in alignment with overall strategic business plan objectives
Develop and implement launch marketing plans, effectively communicate marketing plans to organization and field sales, and report key success metrics and ROI.
Introduce new product initiatives and champion successful product launch campaigns through New Product Commercialization Process, working closely with Sr Product Manager and cross-functional teams to execute launch requirements. Ensure product offerings fulfill Bioproduction market needs for workflow solutions and classical media
Assist in the development of strategic collaborations for product partnerships. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
Create effective promotional marketing materials, sales tools and marketing collateral in collaboration with marketing communications team. Responsible for reviewing and updating product literature/brochures as needed
Support customer programs by providing product and customer support, in close collaboration with Field Sales/Distributors, Technical Support and Customer Service teams. Actively participate in training, customer visits/calls, and customer interfacing
Travel and represent FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific at tradeshows, seminars and customer sites
BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or Marketing
Masters or PhD in scientific field or MBA strongly preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in product or project management, Sales, or Marketing
Prefer experience within the life science, bioproduction or pharmaceutical industry
Must have proven ability to build relationships and work with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, Marketing and Marketing Communications, Program Management, and Operations
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Familiarity with CRM or SalesForce a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentation abilities
