Kit Assembly Technician

Job Description:
We are hiring a Kit Assembly Technician. The Kit Assembly Technician will be responsible for final packaging, labeling, and sealing of products (liquid and/or diagnostics) with appropriate documentation as required by current company policy and regulations.
Shift: 1st (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Inspect product for content (volume) and label accuracy
- Kit product in final box configuration in accordance to product family requirements
- Ability to use shrink seal equipment
- Maintains and ensures completeness and accuracy of all documentation associated to work performed
- Ability to navigate through electronic documentation system
- Responsible for transactions associated with components and supplies used for batch; to maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow line clearance requirements to maintain cGMP and cGLP in all work areas
- Quarantines product and completes all necessary documentation
- Suggest changes in departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintains cleanliness of work area
- Assembles product final kit
- Assist with lab glassware preparation
- Assist in other production duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Skills/Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good work history
- Some experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of metric system
- Ability to understand Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Must be able to work overtime as product demands dictate
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Good oral and written communication skills
Salary and Benefits:
- For California, the base hourly range for this position is $16.51 - $21.64 per hour. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
