Inventory Control Supervisor

Job Description:

We are hiring an Inventory Control Supervisor.  This incoming team member will lead efforts to verify inventory, implement systematic controls, and spearhead improvements for the movement and stocking of Raw Materials and Finished Goods.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Materials Mgmt., Shipping, Logistics & Production Teams in training, allocating, inventory cycle counting, materials picking accuracy analysis, and other warehousing activities
  • Drives the generation of bi-weekly inventory cycle count trending report for raw materials ABCD categories or bin locations. Ensure accuracy of cycle counting data
  • Responsible in providing timely operational update to Materials Management Sr. Manager/Manager and Supply Chain Director in process improvement ideas, safety enhancement, and manufacturing support
  • Represent Materials Management in SAP related project meeting and sandbox testing per project requirements
  • Oversees the Inventory Control team on cycle counting and control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data ERP system
  • Plans and maintain control of raw materials finished goods inventory in multiple locations
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records to facilitate shortage detentions company
  • Develops and implements inventory controls procedures to include cycle counting and reporting guidelines, problem identification, resolution and inventory control process improvements
  • Maintain safe work environment by stablishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with regulations
  • Implement and document an appropriate performance evaluation for recommending promotions, wage and increased, and terminations
  • Leads annual physical Inventory for raw materials, WIP, and FGs based on valuations for Management

Experience/Education:

  • High School or equivalent
  • At least 5 year of warehouse experience
  • Ability to operate forklift and hand dollies
  • General understanding of cGMP
  • Valid California Driver License and good driving record
  • MS Word, Excel, PP
  • Computer literate
