Formulations Supported:

• Customer developed formulations
• Irvine Scientific owned formulation, with or without modifications (e.g., BalanCD^TM CHO Feed 1 with high glucose)
• Classical formulations with or without modifications (e.g., RPMI medium 1640 with low NaCl)

The EMS program is ideally suited for scale-down modeling, troubleshooting, formulation development and optimization.  The EMS program features:

• EMS milling technology is the same as our large-scale cGMP manufacturing facilities'. This consistency reduces the variability in scaling up.

Raw Material Control

• Whenever possible, the media produced through EMS uses the same high-grade raw materials used in large-scale cGMP production that have been approved by Quality Assurance
• Control and care of the raw materials is the same as within our ISO13485:2003 regulated facilities
